Why Do We Worship?

At my work I rarely get chance to discuss something else than work, I hope its with everyone :) Luckily this winter I got an opportunity and we started discussing something religious/divine and the conversation raised a question Why do We Worship or offer Prayers? I was trying to explain something like that is the way to remember god all stuff, then I got An excellent explanation from my Friend/Colleague, Prayer is a communication between you and god.

So Why do we need to communicate with god? Before answering this question, He asked me another question, why do we often speak to our family and friends? I said almost all reasons except one which is LOVE. We love our family and friends, That's the reason we speak/communicate with them. In the same way you LOVE God and you need to communicate with him and the communicator is Worship/Prayers. Don't you agree?

Saibaba Temple in Lawrenceville

Shirdi Sai BabaShirdi Sai Baba Temple

I am a staunch believer of the almighty Sri Shirdi Sai and have been seeking the lord's blessings visiting Baba's shrine every Thursday. Ever since I started inhabiting in New Jersey, Baba tested my grit as there was no Sai mandir/temple in the near proximity of my residence. Distances might have increased, but my devotion towards the lord hasn't subsided...I went on a hunting spree and found this pleasing and serene Baba mandir in Iselin which was glorious and magnificient but still not at a considerable distance to my residence.

My zeal to find Baba's mandir/temple at an affordable distance multiplied exponentially and finally, this summer, the almighty heard my prayers and showed me the nearest path to discover himself in the shrine at Lawrenceville. Sai proved to the every word in the verse "ఇందుగలడు అందులేడని సందేహము వలదు, భగవంతుడు యన్దెన్దు వెదికిన అందందే గలడు (Indugaladu anduledani sandehamu valadu, bhagavanthudu yendendu vedikina andande galadu)"!!! Spectacular...fantabulous...the lords powers are inexplicable...isn't it??

Folks, spread this message about the Sai mandir/temple located at

357 Lawrence Station Road,
Lawrenceville, NJ 08648
Telephone: (609) 737-1986

and be part of the Sai family..."Manava sevaye madhava seva"...help people find the omni present almighty at every possible location near you and the almighty will help you in turn to seek his blessings!!!
